Your ability to control serverless usage on layer0 is unparalleled. We have excellent metrics and tools to help ensure high cache hit rates and low serverless usage, including:

  1. Local Edge emulation
  2. Preprod DevTools
  3. Cache hit rate and Serverless usage by route, which you will not find on other platforms

Increases in traffic may not increase serverless usage because our edge POPs are fed by a shield POP

Requests to the edge could increase, but serverless js compute hours may not increase. Caching could make it such that serverless traffic may only increase slightly if at all, depending on how caching TTLs and invalidation are configured.
