Which routing policy should I choose for Route53 when routing traffic to the XDN?

I was going through the production guide and I had a question about the DNS configuration.

I want to point my apex domain to the XDN to go live but there are multiple methods when doing DNS routing through my provider.

Which one should I use?

Simple routing.

In most cases there isn’t a reason to prioritize one IP in the A records over another. Upon an outage at a single location the auto-failover routing will happen automatically at the edge that the A records point to.
